Empathy, care, patience, and compassion are soft skills required for all specializations of social workers, including LCSW. All job duties must be completed with a genuine interest in people and a good attitude. The most crucial aspect of social work, however, is compassionate and ethical service. Empowering clients and providing hope is a daily job for LCSWs, one that can be difficult but ultimately immensely gratifying.
